Hi All

New to this site so apologies if this does not show correctly. I am interested in buying a second hand tourer and hopefully siting this in the Lake District, preferably in the Ambleside / Windermere area. I have no idea if this can be done and more importantly what the annual cost would be to put on a designated site. Any feedback very welcome

Sites around Windermere are nearer £3 - £4k pa. We had a seasonal pitch at Lowther, near Penrith, that was £2,500.

or why not find a small farm site and ask to store the van there while its not being used and then place it on a pitch when it is? that sort of arrangement is fairly common in france and it should work out cheaper then taking on a seasonal pitch, especially if its a CL site where you can only stay for 30 days in any one period. it could be a win/win situation for both you and the site?
