I have a static van on a site for around 5 years, the site was sold and now the new site owners are starting to put up the annual fee, can they legally do that?

Why would you think they can't, they own it they make the rules. Or am I looking at it too simply.

I would also be aware that in time they will probably put an age limit on the vans aswell. especially if its been taken over by a 'large' company ....

they might be happy to get rid of long term owners so thay can site and sell new vans, its a gamble buying/siting a van and always has been/will !!


maybe its time to cut and run before the fan gets turned on. then again everything could be just fine and dandy from here on in!

Sadly it appears that the owners of static sites can do whatever they like, whenever they like. There are very little controls apparently. It's all about market forces. If they can get people to pay 3 times what they are paying now, they will charge it. Their land, their rules it would seem.
