It is recommended in BS7671 that caravans are tested every three years, there is no specific reference to statics but I suppose they could be classed as a caravan.
BS 7671 is not a legal requirement.

BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations says this should appear on the text of instructions for the safe use of a caravan or mobile home: -
Quote
Periodic Inspection
Preferably not less than every three years and annually if the caravan is used frequently, the caravan electrical installation and supply cable should be inspected and tested and a report on their condition obtained as prescribed in BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations published by the Institute of Engineering and Technology and BS!
Section 114. 1 however does state: -

The Regulations are non-statutory.
So anyone claiming it is a legal requirement is incorrect
Statics and park homes are all legally classed as caravans.
The guidelines for electrical checks are every 10 years for bricks&mortar, every 3 years for caravans.
While there is no statutory legislation about electric checks, the majority of sites (including residential park home sites) will have something about this in their terms and conditions.
Plus the commissioning report will most likely have a "next check due in..." date on the report (which should be by the consumer unit).
