I bought a brand new static 8 yrs ago from park owner. My boiler broke down so I called a company to fix it and said there is no longer parts available for it and the only solution was to have a new one. We only use it through the summer season so it's not in constant use. Would I have a claim for not fit for purpose.

No.
But you may be better finding another gas engineer - "no parts available" sounds like an engineer hoping for commission to flog you a new boiler.
If it is a Morco boiler, try contacting Morco directly for advice.

Any other make, most of the manufacturers will have some form of fixed price repair.

Out of time to claim it’s not fit for purpose.
And have you had it serviced annually? If not, it could be argued that’s why it’s broken down. Bit like a car….

what is the make/model of the boiler? have you tried sourcing parts yourself or even a decent second hand boiler (i assume ts a boiler that heats radiators as well as the hot water)

you may also find that the site wont allow anyone else to do boiler work, so get a 'friend' (corgi registered of course) to stay for the weekend and see if the boiler suddenly repairs itself for a lot less money ....

ps i assume you have been given a receipt of the 'check' which identifies the fault?

This could be quite dangerous advice, not least because CORGI was replaced by GasSafe in 2009.
The OP has not come back, but I would be quite surprised if the boiler manufacturer (probably Morco) did not (a) still make spares, and (b) was unable to point the OP in the direction of a registered engineer who could be able to make a repair instead of trying to get commission for flogging a new boiler.
