We have a 2021 willerby Brookwood which has wood panelling behind the seating area.
When the heating goes on because it’s cold outside the wood behind the seating gets very cold and is wet to the touch.
We have increased the ventilation by having the 2 front windows open on the latch at all times.
No problem at all in the summer it only Appears to be happening in the winter ?
Does anyone have any ideas please ?
This model is manufactured to EN1647, which is based on warm season use, so has less insulation, which means the inside walls will feel colder and are more liable to condensation (warm air settling on cold spots).
Maybe get a small fan and point that at the problem area, switch the fan on when you turn the heating on.
This should keep the warm air moving around until that area of the wall has a chance to warm up.
I've just bought a 12L per day dehumidifier to deal with condensation/dampness in my bedroom, works an absolute treat and only around 7p per hour in elec (220W).
Really can't believe the difference, seems to be extracting around 400ml every 5 hours.
