We've been there but it was a good few years ago now. We liked it but I remember it as being very windy and it put us off air-awnings for life as we had to get up at some unearthly time in the morning to take ours down as it was constantly slamming into the side of the caravan and keeping us awake. We have never used it since. Chesil beach is lovely and so is the surrounding area. Never used any taxis there so I've no idea what they would cost.

If you walk to the end of the road leading into the site, there is a bus service. Across the road is an ALDI.
