Hi ,

We’re looking to site our caravan next year , hopefully in Derbyshire or possibly Staffordshire.

We’re just a couple in our fifties but we’re struggling to find sites that have seasonal pitches.

I’ve filtered the search on here and maybe my expectations are too high as I was hoping there’d be more choice.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Our daughter had a seasonal pith at Lickpenny at Tansley, Matlock. It was a lovely site, can highly recommend.

Tow and pitch is another option some sites offer. Van is stored in a dedicated storage area on the site and towed out to a pitch when you want to use it then towed back to storage when you have finished.

You pay standard pitch fee while pitched and a storage charge for the year plus a small charge for the tow out and back.

Can be cheaper than seasonal pitch if you don't use it much.
