we are looking at taking a late night/early morning ferry to the isle of wight. Is there anywhere near Fishbourne to park up for a few hours before moving to our booked site. We will be towing a caravan.

Try using the Direct Ferries website, it will search some of the ferry operators and should give you an idea of your options.

We stayed at Nodes Point a few years back, we had a great time and the kids loved the beach.

Can't granddaughter pull a few strings and make arrangements for a late arrival? There must be somewhere to park near reception.

The Isle of Wight doesn't have many lay-bys that are long enough for a car and caravan and I can't think of anywhere between Fishbourne and St Helens that would be suitable. The Isle of Wight Council publishes a list of motorhome parking places and that may give you some ideas of places that you could check out. The other problem may be that you may need long term parking depending on when you can get on your pitch.
