I'm looking for somewhere for Easter that will take 2 dogs and that isn't too pricey, AND where dogs can swim (our youngest dog loves the water).

We have a campervan, 2 adults + awning and would like EHU.

Areas we'd consider:
Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Forest of Dean/Gloucestershire, Hereford, Oxfordshire.

Try West End Farm in WEston or campsites near Brean. Not far to the beach however due to the very sloping beach it will be more of a paddle than a swim. Probably better a site with a river nearby, but rivers could be fast flowing so not something we would entertain.

Not in the South, however, Fforest Fields has a man-made lake which is great for dogs that love water - my old dog loved it there!

The Salcombe (South Devon) area is lovely and your dog could swim at Thurleston Sands, but not sure about summer beach dog bans, so near a river may be better?

Brean and WSM have one of the highest tidal ranges and often gets very muddy. And for those reasons I wouldn't let her swim there. I'm sure we'll find something.

I'll have to check that out. We've always stayed at Isle of Avalon if going to Glastonbury as they're quite a bit cheaper. But if it's just for a weekend that would be ideal once the warmer weather arrives ....
