Has anyone been to this CS? Can't make it out for the number of trees, but there must be a site there somewhere.

Ha, not necessarily, but we drove along the Wyle valley once, thought it was lovely and am looking for a site in that area, between Wilton and Warminster.

It’s on Google maps with photos & widely varying reviews, at a former railway station (trains still running). I can’t tell if they’re the wrong sort of trees for you or on the wrong side.
Interesting seeing the photos the various army unit badges cut into the chalky hillside in the area. I’d forgotten about those.

-------------
2024 = 18 sites / 38 nights. 2023 = 9/23. 2022 = 13/35. 2021 = 11/29. 2020 = 4/20. 2019 = 13/35. 2018 = 20/33. 2017 = 10/22. 2016 = 19/33. 2015 = 15 sites / 27 nights. Didn't count 1976 to 2014.

Thanks, think we will go to Copse Side at Ansty instead. Now I have found it, no chance, surrounded by trees. Not yet though, maybe April if we get good weather.
