We were meant to be going to Waghorns CL near Wadhurst tomorrow. Just had a call from the owner to tell us that they have had 3:days of rain and that we won't get onto the site. We agreed on Tuesday instead. At least he let us know. I well remember my only 1/10 review where the site was a sea of mud and they didn't bother telling us.

Thank you Mrs B. You triggered me into buying a pair of Milenco grass grip mats to put under the front wheels when the MH is on grass. I want to feel confident again, after badly gouging a grass pitch when leaving after a lot of rain. The site made it into a hardcore pitch after that!
A lot of people wouldn’t be on their planned site over the last few days though, I’m guessing.

Much wider than the Milenco and cheaper. They had the advantage of also being used outside the van on a day today basis.

They look very handy, may have to indulge in a couple of those. Did you ever use them in anger, SG?

Used them a lot. They were also brilliant for stopping jockey wheel sinking into sandy/gravelly/mud terrain when manoeuvering
