Why have all the beach closed to dogs, why can't they wise up and realise that people with dogs have children as well who want to go on the beach, why can't they have one section specifically for dogs, then we are all happy.
Quite a lot of places do - you just need to ask around.
On the East Coast resorts like Filey etc, are only "no dog" in front of the promenade area - go to the sides of that and it's all open. And frankly evebn before we had dogs I used to prefer the side beaches to the main drag just because it's quieter (and less likely to be full of human detritus).

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
When we went on a beech the last time with our two dogs, I said to my husband right lets look for all this dog poo, and we couldn't see any, however we could see cans, bottles, carrier bags, crisp packets etc.
I agree with bchristie and south milton was our favourite with our dogs no restrictions atall, beautiful aswell, we stayed at bolberry farm and thats really dog friendly, you can even take your dogs into the pubs round there. The south hams is definately the place to be with dogs. penny
