  we stay  often at a site in the Midlands owned by British Waterways  for two years its been £6 50,  its a five site,Last easter it went up to £12 and  supposed to stay at  that for two years but if they`d put it up  £3 yearly they wouldn`t get the agro from customers.Some reported it to Caravan Club but obviously Bailiff Warden as No control over the prices the Waterboard decidesto charge

 One Motorhome comes from Spain for 3 months every June/Sept had a big shock when they turned up last year to find the cost nearly double which shot their budget to pieces!!!!! Fuel prices will be the next price Hike its going sky high

I agree with prices getting out of hand.

We have spent the last two years caravanning in SW France purely because it is cheaper to holiday in France than in the UK. Even with the poor exchange rate this year we still only paid £18-00 per night in AUGUST. This was for a large pitch, EHU, Awning etc.

In France the price is for the pitch. This site allows up to 6 people per pitch. We have friends who meet up with us and they have 3 tents, 5 people and without EHU paid just £15-00 per night. £105-00 per week for a family to camp in August.

We don't see that happening in the UK. We honestly can't afford to take our main two weeks in the UK any more...

I don't mind paying around £15-00 to £18-00 per night but anything more and I give it a miss. RIP OFF BRITAIN still exists it seems???
