How about Treveague farm which is Gorran Haven, 10 miles away from St Austall, we are visiting this site again this year for the 2nd time, we love this area, nice site
Mother Iveys Bay is good. Great views and breathtaking when you get up early and listen to the waves breaking over the rocks................HEAVEN
Harlyn Sands is just next door but I've not stayed there.
Be warned though about Padstow. Its fab but full of yuppies in 4x4's who think they own the place and never park properly in the car park! (Sorry if I've offended anyone but if you have ever been there you will know what I'm getting at.)
PS I am (hopefully) a "respectfull" 4x4 owner myself as I live out in the country.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We went passed there last year to see for this year with a FC and EHU it would come to around £40 a night. But it Did look good.
I go to cornwall because we have family down there so it's half a holiday and other half duty to visit family. also I enjoy a day trip to isles of scilly on the scillonian III and if it's rough the better.
I have to agree, it is expensive!!! The toilet block wasnt up to scrath when we stayed either and I was initially apprehensive. However after 2 days I'd fallen in love with the location!
We have just booked a week in Cornwall and Devon £39.00 and £35.00 respectivley.
Thats still 2 weeks hols for just over £500.
Roll on the summer.
Good luck in your search anyway. Have a great time.
Tollgate Farm at Perranporth is a nice little uncommercialised site. Has play area and pet/farm animal area for the kids, little shop and takeaway in high season and is within walking distance (across dunes) to the beach at Perranporth.
