I booked my tent at Golden sands...Haven only have a handful of sites that accept the larger tents....they call them euro pitches, and no the euro pitch I had didn't have waste/water/tv...just EHU and grass, and yeah you have to phone them to check availability.

Chware teg Dozy.....My dad is 55 so hopefully someone will give him a chance. Mind you he's making a great childminder and extra camping gear carrier at the mo!!!
------------- It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.
we are booked into the Perran sands site and when i rang and explained what went on with my tent i also took the names of the manager who said it was fine as long as i pitch it best i can thing is so i heard the tent pitches are not marked so not sure how they sort it out to be honest have to see and let you guys know when i get back lol
I have only ever been to Golden sands, and I didnt see any markings to the pitches either, they tell you the general area in which to pitch, and make sure your at least 6mtrs away from others around, and keep the 'roadways' clear. They have numbered EHU points, you just connect to which ever is the closest to you.

Wellllll.... after all your advice (thankyou so much everyone) I phoned them back this morning and it was a good job we did. They had booked us in as a caravan and not a tent, the site was also full so they wouldn't have been able to change it for us.
We are now booked at perran sands, where I originally wanted so hopefully everything is well now. I just hope the reviews of the park are not as bad as they seem.
