As you can see, different sites have different facilities, but hey who cares who I rub shoulders with, even if I update to hookup and entertainment the nightly fee is unlikely to exceed £10. I have had a look at the websites of some of these sites and to rent a caravan on there can be up to £700 per week, I can get all that less the caravan for about £70, got to be a bargain. Only me and the missus now as I have retired so not limited to school holiday times.
Actually I think you will find most of these bookings will be taken by non Sun readers such as myself, don't buy any dailies only the local. As the offer has been on the TV many and varied will apply but places will be very limited. All the sites appear to be prime sites and so I would think they would be very well maintained and regulated. If you do not want to look at the sites online, a list will be in the Wednesday edition.
Off to see what's available, may even see you there!

Hi,i phoned one park this morning to enquire about their £1 pitch and the lady told me the pitch was going to cost £11 when i asked why £11 instead of the £1 as advertised she explaned the £1 was for a basic pitch and as their tent pitches all came with EHU it was an extra £10 a night, and then you still have the extras of ents passes per night as well to add on...i have decided to leave it as its all a con and i cant be bothered.
you don't HAVE to take the entertainments passes ....
if just using the site as a base, then you won't need them and don't have to take them
wingchun,totally agree
i am not a SUN reader / purchaser but do take advantage of the cheapy £9.50 / £15 sun holidays ( don't even buy the paper then,as have a priority code so just need the code words) many people do the same
yes there will be some chavs attracted to this type of deal,BUT wherever you go you will find those, unfortunately! lol
Just phoned Ty Mawr in Abegele Nth Wales. Actual price with ALL the entertainment and hookup is £8 per night. This is a big site with lots of facilities. We will book for 4 nights at a total cost of £32. got to be a bargain. We were paying £14 per night on a site near Llandudno with just a shower and toilet, not even a pub in the village. As Rachieb says, you do not HAVE to take the entertainment passes or the hookup, these were the options we chose, I WAS given the opportuntity of a basic pitch.

i am hoping to taking advantage of this just to get an extra couple of nights camping in really ....................... i dont feel the need to disclose my opinions of the sun but if they are offering something i want i am more than happy to paticipate ................ i am going on a ukcs meet in sept and i think we could have all done with a pound night instead of the 13 pound or 16 pound or whatever we all paid per night
------------- A tent is like a newborn born baby..... to some they all look the same..... but if its yours it's beautiful.

Some of the haven parks are charging extra for electric and passes for entertainment but there a few other smaller sites that have cheaper prices.
We don't buy the sun a lady at OH work passes it on to him ever day so that is how we found out about it.... we won't be taking it up as OH can't have any hols now until Oct half term when we are booked into Chester CC for a wk.
I'm sure for some with kids that aren't at school yet or those with out kids it could make athem a good short break at a low price.
