I hav'nt been on here for a while, have been too busy learning about washing machines, the 'right way' to hang the washing (my wfe's German), amongst many other chores I've had to help her with while she hobbles about on crutches here after four days in hospital. She's being very stoic and cheerful even though it seems as though it is going to be a long job. She says thank you to those who have wished her well and who've passed on their recommendations for places to visit in Scotland when we are able to. Thank you and best wishes to you all from Helene, and me.
C &CC site at Tarland near Ballater. Just got back - very friendly staff, handy village shops, flat pitches, sheltered from the high winds we had for 24 hours. The roads are very quiet and the views in the area to die for.
