If you decide to go to Holmsley or Ashurst (which are part of The Forest Holidays group) then you may want to invest in the Forest Experience Card.
This costs £12 or is it £15 and lasts for a year. It entitles you to £3.50 PER NIGHT off your pitch fee. So, as the EHU is £3.50 per night you would save over the course of a few days and if you intend to visit any of the other Forest Holiday parks you'd soon recoup your costs. The card also offers you discounts on local attractions.
We bought the card in June this year and have already recouped the initial outlay
