Perhaps the campsite has had previous problems with groups of youngsters? I think that condemning the site without knowing the facts is a bit unfair. I got to a site sometimes which does allow youngsters and, in the main, they keep them apart from families. You see them walking in with crates of beer on their shoulders which is absolutely fine but not everyone wants to be in amongst that sort of thing. Mostly they are fine but I have had to have words with a few groups after they've had one too many halves of weak lager. yes, we were all once and I know that I wouldn;t have wanted to camp next to me when I was 19!!

Mine wasn't a condemnation of the site, in fact totally the opposite! Once I'd called them, although they wanted assurances, they accepted the booking. They could have just said no!
We've had more problems with 30 something drunken aggressive behaviour . Than any group of teen to 20s most if being a little loud calm it down the 30 somethings just abuse
I'm guessing the OP won't have this problem anymore, since the thread is 2 years old so the group of 19-20 year olds are now going to be 21 and 22 year olds!

We have had several small groups of youngesters stay on our park and usually they are no problem at all - thing is because we let them on they are often extremely well behaved because they appreciate this fact.
Did you know that in 2012 there is a new law coming into force regarding age discrimination? Havent read it all but the jist is that places will NOT be allowed to discriminate - they can be an Adult only park but if they are not then they can not say no under 21's or the such. Not 100% sure on all the in's and outs of it yet but it will be interesting!!
Did this ever happen, I wonder?
Besides, surely the term 'adult' applies at age 18, not 21?
