I've been to 'the beach' a few times on business and to be honest they've made a really good job of it! Nice attention to detail and considering it's slap bang in the middle of the landlocked midlands, it really does feel like a real beach! We're trying to arrange a camping wedding and have considered this as a venue!

Near enought to keep them in mind for long weekends.
Are they on the site search?

have yet to go camping this year this year, was surposed to go to meet jimjam and suzie this w/e but son had small op two weeks ago (which hasn't resolved the problem) and now has tonsilitus so other than booking for the summer not booked much else we are just going to pop over for a couple of hours to meet them tho'
I'm only an occasional lush Val lol
Have the odd can or two and don't normally have it in the house but had to take advantage of the 3 for £18 hence it's in the house and very hard to resist when it's looking at you in the fridge
A friend took their family there for the day yesterday and was raving about it. I felt rather smug as we had been to the reel thing(Waymouth) for a few days. Hope the sun continues.

Here is the thread for all our chit chat and triva - and believe me there's a lot on that thread (mostly trivia lol)
As to what happens, well ........... as much or as little as you want.
Last year we just set up and then sat about on the Friday. On the Sat everyone did their own thing - some fished, others went to the market at Penkridge, others just sat about doing nothing and Mikey played badminton etc. We all got together on Sat night for a Jacobs Join (just a joint eating and drinking evening where everyone brings something and we all share).
That's about it really. The site is really nice and the playpark really good for children.
It was really good meeting lots of other UKCS people and we enjoyed it so much we're going back this year.
Have a look and you are very welcome to join in with us - anyone who wants to is welcome to join in.
