For us, CC sites loo/shower facilities are usually a good standard (although a few sites dont have any) pitches are a  good size and often well thought out (if you pick your site).  We love staying on CLs though and would pay annual membership for that alone. For a longer stay with son in tow, we use a site.

Personally, we dont want pubs/clubs/pools/entertainment etc,  and I have an aversion to sites set out like car parks or dealerships (just row upon row).  We want a nice setting and good loo block on a site and so far CC have delivered.  Stayed at New England Bay last week (in all that good weather), site was gorgeous.

hi agree with jane i like the cc because of the excellent toilet and shower facilities.i dont think theres anything more off putting on a site when you walk in to use them and they be dirty.

I have been a member for 4 years now and to be honest will probably cancel.

Plenty of the sites are available to non members anyway.

With regards the othe row upon row point many of the sites I have been to are exactly that. I personally am tired of that type of site but the CC sites I have been to dont seem to vary from that format particularly so dont think its something to highlight as a selling point for CC club sites which often are like that as well.

I only camp in a tent at present, therefore, no point joining CC so I cannot comment about them.

I joined C&CC on the advice by their site warden for the site I visit usually once a year for a 5-night stay. The cost of a year's membership is only a few pounds on top of the daily non-member fee that I would have to pay, and it gives me access to all their other sites, including 2 other Club Sites within 45min drive from home.

Being a lone female camping with a dog, I prefer sites with a warden on site 24/7.

All their facilities are very good, in fact, I would go as far as to say I would make them the standards to which other non-C&CC sites should compare.

In addition, I get a monthly magazine which is always a good read.

I have not tried their Certified Sites yet, as I like to book online and have yet to find CSs that I would like to stay with online booking facility.

All in all, I am very happy with being a member of C&CC.

IMHO, for a family with children, it makes sense to join in order to take advantage of their family deal. All you need is to stay at their sites for 2 trips and you would have save yourself the equivalent of a year's membership fee.

As the others have mentioned, it does not suit everyone, so do your research and decide if it is for you or not.

It was wasn't it, we were there from the 19th until the 29th stuck up at the back hidden amongst the gorse.  We sat next to a couple from your area in the Logan hotel on the Friday evening where we went for a meal.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
