You could always try my favourite one - Drewery Caravan Park & Campsite at California, 6 miles north of Yarmouth. It's in a lovely area on a cliff top with direct access to a great beach and heathland at the side, so great for dog walking. £16 per night for medium sized tent, four people and car. There's a small on-site shop, small club with evening entertainment (it also serves breakfasts and lunches during the day), a nice pub/restaurant across the lane and a small takeaway/cafe, also small amusement aracade just down the lane. Hemsby, with it's many shops, cafes and amusements is just over a mile away. You don't normally have to book just to pitch on the tent field but at this time of year it may be better if you did - 01493 730845 if you're interested. (And the kids can tell all their friends they went to California for their holidays!)
Am glad you posted about this site Tigermouse, had read about it somewhere on here before and couldnt find it again!  Have made a note of the number this time.  Cheers
The details of it are now on Campsite Search debs, courtesy of yours truly, and when I get a few minutes I'm going to do a site report for it. I'm going back there on August 14th for eight days, and can't wait.
