I have booked to stay at Billing in July. Can you remember the name of the field you were on? We have been allocated Shellduck meadow 1.

We went up there on the 1st March to see Burcroft Camping and the smell was the first thing that hits you lol.  It really does look like a great site and even though i have read everyone on here's experience's there i must admit to feeling tempted to try it myself so don't beat yourself up as i've often found that other people's experience of something is quite often the opposite of mine lol.

I've read reviews of a great sounding site and been disappointed and then not so good reviews of sites i've found great. 

We all learn from our own experience's and we'd never do anything if we listened to other's ALL the time lol

And just think you have saved other's who may have been thinking of going there a lot of upset so not a worthless trip :)

Am going just for one of our summer camping trips. I used to go to billing quite a lot but it was about 15 years ago last time. Going from Monday to Saturday, first week of July. I think it must be the weekends that are the main problem.

As I have prepaid on the summer offer of half price, we have decided to go anyway, but to have details of other campsites nearby so we can bail out if needed...lol.

Also, it seems that it depends which field you get allocated. The problems seem to be puddleduck more than other fields, but I suppose I will have to wait and see...lol
