Ruddi, you can be spoilt for choice if you look at this Sites taking XL tents !! Plenty of sites should take your size tent and you certainly shouldn't have to pay any extra for it.

Maybe best to look for sites that don't have marked pitches. Bracelands and Christchurch in the forest of Dean plus east or west fleet (can't remember which one - the one that only takes tents and motor homes) near Weymouth, we didn't have ehu but they do have them. I think keeling Heath also had extra large pitches I seem to remember. Hope that helps.

At 7.5 x 3.5 were not quite as big but have had no problem at all.
We've been to..... Shell Island (u could get away with twice your size.... But no ehu's though but a fab site). Home Farm, Anglesey. Scottsdale farm, whittering. Dolgamedd, Wales, and a great one in dadwlish warren ... Strugling for the name but ask if it's of interest :)
