Hi All,

Sorry to re-start this again but we are honing in and would appreciate your help.

We pick up the motorhome at Lanark. We will probably be knackered having driven from Reading.

The only campsite for Lanark area seems Clyde Valley and doesn't read that great but this may be 1 night stay.

We are then thinking of staying at Glencoe, driving past Loch Lomond, 1 night.

Then Fort William, 2 nights, possible visit to Loch Ness (I am not fussed but wife keen).

Then Arisaig to stay for 2 nights (now I am very keen)

And Mull for 1 night.

This means I miss out on a night stay at Point Sands in Kintyre.

None of the above is set in stone. We are now busy researching the sites to stay at on this website. We also have the option of wildcamping in the motorhome.

So if anyone can comment on what they think, whether we are making any mistakes or have strong recommendations on touring campsites, please say.

We are completely out of our depth and need as much help as possible.

Thanks a million.

When camping in a tent, my wife likes it erect ASAP but when camping in the Cali, my wife likes it up nice and smooth.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

There is a caravan site at Strathclyde Country Park, just off the M74 at Motherwell, about half an hour's drive from Lanark.
