Just received the book today. I'll have a read through and give my thoughts on it tomorrow! I'm already a bit concerned that a brilliant small site we use regularly hasn't even got a mention, so this guide is by far from complete, and I'll bet there are hundreds and hundreds of little gems that are missed out.


Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Heather + Phil..... I'd love to be able to do that, but I'd need to get Mrs M to agree to either letting me go away all the time on my own, or to coming along with me to every small site I can fine. I don't think she'd like either HOWEVER, I reckon that there's enough people here that we could all club together and do quite a comprehensive guide to smaller sites.... perhaps that's something worth thinking about?

Hmm... I wonder if we could all send our little gems to ukcampsite and have a forum full of them? we could even post pictures and give out grid references, maybe even phone numbers of friendly field owners willing to let people camp on their land for say a fiver a tent, a night. That's definitely worth thinking about.
