The railway runs past the site at Cheddleton, so close you can wave to all the people on it and thats just what we did.

The stations is within walking distance

       CC site at Berwick-on-tweed, Seaview, is next to the East Coast main line.  

       Hoburn Blue Anchor, near Minehead, has the West Somerset Railway (steam) on one side, with a station adjacent, and the sea on the other.

Burrs Country Park Bury steam trains most weekends with a mix of old diesels inbetween, track runs along the rear of the site so you can picth right upto the embankment, train spotters dream
