Look like our pictures!!!! We were there at the weekend too but from the look of your pictures we were over the other side of the site nearer the road/railway although they didn't disturb us or the girls.

Amazing weather, lovely site and they let us stay as long as we wanted on Sunday as nobody was booked on our pitch which made the weekend feel even longer.

Nice pub down the road meant a good Sunday lunch and no need to cook when back at home - perfect!

I do love looking at photo's of other peoples holidays but it does make me sad that I can't get away for a while yet

I was wondering if anyone on here might be on the site missbou, must have walked past your tent a few times on the way to the toilets and reception. Were you on the field facing the reception or one of the grass pitches among the caravans?

The road and rail noise didn`t bother us either, thought the site seemed small and peaceful, perfect really. The pub you mentioned. Royal Vale Abbey, I think , isn`t the one we went to but we are planning to visit again and will be going to that one.

Hi lancs lass, yes we were on a grass pitch with the caravans, large tent so it meant we had plenty of room, we were the tent with 2 noisy girls (a 3 year old and a 2 year old!)

Yes that is the pub we went to, lovely inside but as it was so nice we ate on the terrace and had a drink in the beer garden, loads of tables to sit at, food very nice and sensibly priced.

A great weekend, we've now decided to go away again this weekend but having problems finding something at the moment!

We can't sulk either really if we don't find anything cos we're off to Brittany with the tent in 2 weeks time but just thought this weekend would be an extra if we can manage it!!!
