One (on the RH side of the track) would have been Woodyhyde, mentioned above by Gulliver7952.

Woodyhyde gets a vote from me too. Stayed there for a week a couple of years ago, thoroughly enjoyed it. 3 fields, 1 predominately EHU, the others, tents, no fixed pitches. Decent on-site shop. Relaxed atmoshpere. Loads of free play space for kids. Oh, an a steam train runs alongside one of the fields...

Toms Field

I stayed here a few years ago and had a great time.
Nice pub just up the road. Near to the coast and an easy walk into Swanage and bus stop nearby if you don't want to walk.

The pub in the village is the business imo. I love that place!

I've never stayed at Tom's Field, I really must give it a try.

Watching Steam trains go by on a Campsite would certainly be  different.

There's a site at Goathland in Yorkshire where they chug over your head when you're in the shower. The shower block is under a railway bridge.

Just 'googled' down onto Swanage Railway and as Hacksaw Bob says the campsite is 'Woodyhyde.'

We did spot some  EHU's at Woodyhyde,  they were in the field nearest the train tracks.

Yes, a good view of the track from Field 1 at Woodyhyde - there are also several sites (some with a shorter tent season) very near to Harmans Cross Station.

We looked back on our Steam Train journey photos today and spotted  Harman's Cross Campsite on them.
