Hi Tim the one I was thinking of is chaplains farm and it's about 5 mins drive on a quiet road up to the main hospital. It's near the white hart pub. I guess you need to think about if you just want to be in the general Cambridge area or you want to be right next to the hospital site so you can popin and out as needed. The a14 round to fulbourn can be hard going depending on what time of day it is. I hope it goes well anyway, I'm sure it's difficulT at the moment but it's clear how supportive you both are and I'm sure your family appreciates it. Make sure you take time to have a break so you can emotionally recharge.
Hi Tim...sounds like you've both had a horrible time, hope you've found somewhere. My sister in law lives in Littleborough and the village and Hollingworth Lake are lovely.
Hope it's better news than you expect with Cary's sister.

I must confess that following advice from our Doctor and Vicar, both of whom we know very well, that WE need a complete break away ourselves before we have any further involvement with Cary's sister - who we believe has SERIOUS mental health problems.
So, therefore, a change of plan we are going off asap and weather permitting for a break in the Lakes, hopefully Keswick CCC site which is a favourite of ours.
We have made a note of all the helpful suggestions re sites near Manchester for future visits to the kids but on this occasion we are just limiting ourselves to driving over and being taken out for Mother's Day Lunch.
Yes lets hope that all is well with Carys Sister. We too have had a Stressful few weeks. Me and Hubby have had little or no time to think. So off we go this coming weekend for a well earned break just the two of us and the dog .
