Brought a new caravan and cancelled picking it up twice in January because of weather (bad planning delivery in January). Put it straight into storage and have been wanting to get it out onto garden for the last couple of weeks but due to weather and work not been able to. This weekend was my last chance for putting everything in before going away to Wales next weekend, now that's gone to pot with the weather. Going to be a mad rush next week to put everything in and hope that it all works ok !

Things can only get better. We will always remember one Easter in our 40 years of caravanning,Easter 1975 in New forest, built 5ft snowman Good Friday,Easter Monday kids were in the sea at Milford.
Easter 1994 in the Lake District (in a tent), never been so cold. That is the reason why we first got a caravan, but OH doesn't want to go way as planned this Thursday as he is worried about the pipes freezing.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We are snowed in on a site in Derbyshire. We have food, drink and fuel. Can't ask for much more. It'll thaw eventually.
Just one small request of my fellow caravaners, where ever you are.... please do not take out your frustrations on the site owners. It's not their fault the weather's so bad. I've just heard one person complaining that the site shop had run out of the basics and that they couldn't get out. Surprisingly enough, nor could the owners and the suppliers couldn't get in either... Thank you
