look at lazonby campsite near penrith, close to the lake district, but also far enough away to be chilled and also not expensive, £15 per night for your unit,EHU wash up facilities, free hot showers, playground and a lovely village, local pub and shop,add to that the local village swimming pool which is avialable to you for a few quid and its a great little site... - lazonby is on the settle to carlisle railway so you get steam trains running through the village twice a week in summer..... and you are close to the eden valley, the great scenery , 10 mins drive from the M6 and 20 mins drive to ullswater.......
