Brown Moor CC site on the outskirts of Hawes is one of our favourites in the Yorkshire Dales, it's about a 10 minute walk into the town/village with lots of walks to suit all abilities. We also use The Howard CC site in Rosedale Abbey, it's in the village (pub opposite site entrance) the one problem for some folks is that the site has no toilet/shower block but in our opinion this is far ouyweighed by the many walks and the sites situation in the centre of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park
