Northam farm somerset is great site if you want be near the lakes you want lakeside pitches free fishing and its good fishing

We have been to Hoburne Cotswold where there seemed to be a few fishermen on site and also quite local, might be worth a look. showers were good too. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1684

avoid warren farm just down the road from Northam farm, the fishing is quite bluntly pathetic.

we are off to Burton Constable in a couple of hours - 10 days of fishing

*edit* i can also highly recommend Pillaton Hall too..

Please have a look at Lakeside, at Bielby near Pocklington. We have heen twice this year and it's such a lovely site. Really friendly people, lovely wardens that go above and beyond and the fushing is excellent with caravan pitches on the lakeside.
Can't recommend it enough, adult only, lovely clean facilities and just a few minutes drive from Pocklington, well worth a visit.
