Lovely pictures Mucker. Is that you sitting with your feet up outside the tent? Nice to put a face to the name. Like the sound of the campsite too, my kids would be happy with 2 swings and a pile of books.
TM, Wallace Lane Farm in Cumbria doesn't have statics but it does have cosy glamping huts right beside the tent pitches. They have fold out futons and the loos and showers are at the bottom of the field, would that be suitable? It's a lovely site.

Sandyhills Bay, west of Dumfries. Statics (not many) in a circle around the grassy area for camping. Beautiful beach next door, play area too, pub & pool a short walk away. Sorry, dogs allowed on leads (as they should always be on any site).

It is yes. We'd just got back to from a 29.95 mile bike ride, so I grabbed a beer and collapsed in to the chair, whilst Muckerette took two turns around the pond to take her counter over the 30 mile mark, hence the pic from t'other side of pond!!
PS, That's a very rare pic... me sitting doing nowt... We've got loads of Muckerette though!

Just came back from a weekender at Traffords caravan park(and camping!) at Bassenthwaite. Its more west than south of you--but they have a few statics for rental and you will be able to pitch your tent very near to them.Simple and basic site with hookups/toilet block and a small shop.Bus stop at gate for Keswick service-about £3.50 return. Tent and 2 people with hookup £17.50 per night.Minibus back from Keswick £15.00 should you end up stuck in the pub and miss the last bus!! Nice peaceful site on the Carlisle to Keswick road.Lovely little pub about a mile up a narrow lane (Sun inn)for meals and beer.Cheap and cheerful---no frills but closing for winter at end of month I think.

The camping field in front of these caravans in Calloose caravan park is very close, you could book a pitch directly in front of the caravan,
