What's wrong with a toilet tent and pressure shower. We used this setup for years so long as you use a plastic curtain and tray to keep the soap off the toilet tent. (A large size is better).
Thanks, I used this set up too, hence the request!! 🙂
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Having just returned from Ashbourne Heights on an en suite pitch, I can confirm that everything is missing from that set up above ;-)
I have camped in tents and my folding caravan for years, and have used camping loos and the showers on site etc, but having facilities right next to the pitch really did make it more of a holiday; less hassle, less setting up and packing away (didn't even bother setting up the water pump, waster carrier, portaloo etc) I would definitely do it again. The bathroom was roomy and pristine with a fantastic shower and real toilet, plenty of space to leave your towel and wash bag. It was a little touch of luxury, yet still a cheap way to get away.
Welcome to UKCS, BeanyB. If you put your compliments into a review on the site's listing in the directory, it'll help other people. Glad you had a good trip!
Private toilet and shower on a pitch? I must admit this is a facility I didn't even know existed. I have never come across it on any site I have been on. Oh well, we can all learn something every day.
I have just come back from Somerset and we had EHU, water and drainage on our pitch, and I thought that was luxury!
