The restaurant was the Boat House, separate to the Start Inn, £9.50 for small fish and chips £13.50 for normal, they do a take away which is cheaper, might be smaller as well, lol

We went there too. 5 to 11 in the morning. It looked dead and I asked the woman at the counter if they were serving coffee. she said, "We don't open until 11" and walked away and so did we. Not good business sense.

We followed CAMC directions which approached from Kingsbridge. You had to be careful it was narrow in places. We went to Dartmouth on the bus and that would be a worse route in my opinion. Very steep with hairpins. I do think in peak season both directions will be problematic. Just take your time
