You can understand it free electric is give and take some use loads some don't and as the price increase it makes sense but sites have had to pay for the installation of meters how long will it be before they replay the cost

Going away now for nights when the temp swing can be -2 to 3 over 24hrs can certainly clock up a lot of units.

To heat a large twin axle in these conditions one has to have the boiler set to 2kw, plus the fridge etc it’s easy to be pulling 2.5kw/hr

Yes once the van is heated up it goes on and off on the stat but it still runs about 50%+ of the time.

Maybe it is time to consider purchasing a refillable Safefill gas cylinder. We have a 7.5kg bottle and it can last a couple of days if used for heating. To refill ours cost about £10.

That sounds very good way to go to me.

I will have to Google, obviously there will be an upfront cost for the cylinders and depends if it’s available in your area?
