Hello,
Thank you for the recommendations. We would have gone outside of high season, but we're away already in June, and after school holidays (main summer one) cannot get time off from work. We will certainly be having a look round some of the other recommendations whilst we're down there though!
Nothing would persuade us to go away in school holidays, too expensive and too crowded everywhere. I hate crowded places. Our garden is the place to be in school summer holidays.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Us too. We have had a quiet Easter at home, did some diy
We had a week before Easter and are off again n3xt week.

The Old Mill Great Cressingham. Two CL sites on a great pub. One site at the rear of the pub and one at the front of the pub called the water meadow. We prefer the later but it gets muddy if the weather is wet. The site at the back of the pub is the most popular because the shower toilet is closer and it doesn't get muddy.

Thanks for coming back with the information.
Water Meadow CL is listed in UKCS directory.
The Windmill Inn CL is not listed.
Both at “Olde Windmill Inn”.
Stayed at Honing Hideaway a couple of years ago, great site.
We had it all to ourselves for most of the week (July, but term time).
Not much to do without driving somewhere, but peaceful site with absolutely huge pitches and it was around £25 with EHU.
You don't say whether you want a basic, low-cost site or a larger site with lots of facilities. If the latter, Kelling Heath Holiday Park is definitely worth a look. It's expensive, but you do get what you pay for and probably won't ever want to leave!
