i would not expect you to go home after one night and i dont think i even hinted at that, i was only widening the scenario you are the sort of camper i like to be next to  you are aware that everybody needs to enjoy there holliday

mind you i do think new babies leave hospital to soon they should stay at least untill they have there 21st birthday  or untill they get married (just joking)

We had a similar problem on Friday, my son (5) was fine up until he realized he would be sleeping in a tent which freaked him out big time he was screaming, crying etc and we thought it would be best to pack up and go home to save the other campers a sleepness night.

The couple next to us tried telling us to stay and his crying wasn't a problem but I knew how it would pan out (no one would get any sleep) so we packed up and left much to the disappiontment of my daughter.

I really don't think a crying baby would get you kicked off a campsite (saying that we have yet to stop on one) in all honesty what I would do in that situation was to feed the baby try to settle them and if that wasn't working take them for a walk round the campsite 99% of the time that works (both my kids where bad sleepers). And if people do complain they either haven't got any kids or their kids have flown the nest and have forgot that babies cry. I wouldn't let it bother me TBH.

Thanks all.

Touch wood I'm worrying about nothing, and I do feel reassured that if he does wake up and kick off, then hopefully most people will cut us some slack.

You'll be fine Kat.  Don't worry about it as babies pick up anxiety vibes extremely well.  I side on the babies crying don't bother me but constantly yapping/barking dogs do.

Have you found a site to go to yet?  Have a lovely time wherever you choose and you are doing the right thing as the fresh air can only help and when a bit older he will have loads more to do than some children parked in front of the tv.
