hi, although we did not go in the statics they all looked ok, not old and falling to bits, they  are set amongst trees and some have picnic benches outside, they do have some photos on the website of the statics i think. www.caravanparkcornwall.com

I agree with some of the above about Trevornick, great for the kids, but for the adults, 2 great pubs in the village, walking distance. Pitch & Putt and golf courses on site good for a bit of fun & some exercise, our lad reckoned the fishing was good as well.

We will go back.

Nooo, sorry, I wasn't clear.  Sometimes on sites where there statics, they pander to the statics, and we feel a bit like poor relations, is this the case at Boscrege?

Thanks

ahhh sorry, no its not the case, they only have a few statics not like some places that have hundreds, as for tents, tourers etc. they have a toilet block (with signs saying campers only, so not to be used by those using the statics), the toilets although not the most modern were always kept clean and always had a good supply of toilet paper soap etc., the showers were always hot (and no extra charge), the dishwash room has around 6 sinks and washing-up liquid is provided by the owners, a small laundrette with washing machines and dryer, iron etc., an outside drying area with some rotary airers.

Camping is around the outside of a large field, that makes a huge area in the middle for the kids to play, it has a small climbing frame in the middle, they also have a couple of swings and a sandpit. The games room only had a pool table (not great condition but kids didnt care), a few slot machines and a t/v.

The owners of the site and also the warden were very, very friendly, nothing too much trouble.

I have yet to find a site that has such good facilities for the price. Unlike most Boscrege charge per pitch not per person, as a family of six this means a huge saving. The current price is £6.75 per night + £2 if you require hook-up or they do 7 nights inc. electric for £45.00. We have a large 9 berth tent and had no problems with the pitch size.
