Were any of the kids boys? If so, then it is not a single sex group surely? Either way, the attitude of the site owner stinks.

Oh why can't site owners give people the benefit of the doubt?

Yes people can cause trouble on site, but it is not necessarily single sex groups. There have been thread where people have camped next to the family from hell.  As has been pointed out here, the group of lads who went out all day on their mountain bikes,  and caused no trouble what so ever.

Out of the 6 kids 5 are boys.. hadn't thought of that!  I'll have to remember that one if I ever come accross it again.

It's not just single sex groups they turn away. We tried last weekend with four young families (boys, girls, mums & dads) and the chap at the gate was extremely rude and refused to let us camp. We'd even had an email from them saying it would be OK so we were even more suprised. I've emailed them since and they curtly replied that it would be best if we found a different site. With an attitude like that they deserve to go out of business. Tell all your friends to avoid Nunnington Farm.
