We stayed at the CC&C site at Verwood only two weeks ago. There seemed to be three couples running the site. We found all of them friendly and helpful not only to us but other people we heard them speaking to. In fact we have a laugh and a joke with them.  The only time I heard them being "firm" with someone was when they told a child to stop riding his bike round the toilet block. The child was told that he/she should not ride there and to go and play someone else away from the tents etc.  The warden (female) was certainly not rude to the child or would have come across as scary. 

It is not that I don't believe your post but as I had had such a different experience I felt I should say so.  I do agree though the booking should not have been taken if they have a policy of not all one sex parties.

Twobob, what do you mean? The site under discussion is the C&CC site at Verwood, Hillside is another site quite close by.
