Someone asked about places near Malvern - I've thought of some extras which I've noted there Also Sudeley castle in Winchcombe (nice Saxon town), where thingummy whatsit didn't marry Hugh Grant but the other one, if you follow me. Nice gardens.
If you like NT properties, there's Hanbury Hall, nice house and gardens; Snowshill (lots of collections, e.g. spinning wheels, how many does a girl need? can't say I care for it much); Croome Park (parkland only, OK but not spectacular) and Lower Brockhampton, one of my favourites, only a small tudor house, you can go round it in 5 minutes, but a nice woodland with various paths you can follow, ranging from about 1 mile to about 5.
Perhaps you should extend your holiday!
