1 - Do you prefer tents only or doesnt it matter Does not matter, as long as facilities for campers are suitable.

2 - What kind of location do you prefer That depends - sometimes quiet gataways, sometimes big sites with all the knobs & whistles.

3 - Is a swimming pool important  for main holiday in Summer yes, not so for weekends.

4 - Do you prefer an on site shop They are useful, but not essential.

5 - Do you prefer a site with a resturant or bar As with swimming, we would use them in the Summer.  We would also use a nearby pub for an occasional meal.

6 - Peaceful or lively Peaceful, but again for the main holiday, things like a kids club is a godsend.

7 - Is it important that the pitch is grass or will you pitch on hardstanding We like hardstanding in wet weather on muddy sites, grass other times.

8 - Near the sanitary blocks or further away Near.

9 - What time do you think quiet time should be 10.00pm.

10 - Would you prefer to pick your own pitch (that is possible on most sites here) Yes.

1 - Do you prefer tents only or doesnt it matter  Ideally a tent-only field

2 - What kind of location do you prefer Beautiful countryside, with walks from the door and possibility of walking to a village/decent pub. Also sheltered.

3 - Is a swimming pool important No - can't really swim!

4 - Do you prefer an on site shop Somewhere to buy fresh bread/croissants from is pretty cool

5 - Do you prefer a site with a resturant or bar If going for longer than a weekend a restaurant is a bonus

6 - Peaceful or lively Not deathly quiet but certainly no Butlins - somewhere in the middle

7 - Is it important that the pitch is grass or will you pitch on hardstanding not had a go with hardstanding, can't see how it would work? Grass!

8 - Near the sanitary blocks or further away Further away.

9 - What time do you think quiet time should be 11 p.m. - 8 a.m.

10 - Would you prefer to pick your own pitch (that is possible on most sites here)  Like to pick from pre-determined pitches so some structure!

Mainly a bar although not that fussed really!

6 - Peaceful or lively

Depends who im with usually nice an peaceful but we do have a yearly en masse camping trip which can get a bit noisey so nice to have the choice!

1. not really bothered so long as the campers are all friendly

2. anywhere that's got friendly owners and looks after it's campers

3. Wouldn't be put off by one and for October camp would be a bonus for the girls on those not so nice days.

4. Yes and No. the girls like to go and get the milk or bread or a sweet from the shop if there is one. If not then no big deal.

5. Usually not - again for October camp would be OK but handy if a local takeaway delivers to the site for one meal in a weeks camp (give OH at least one night off )

6. Peacefull but with the children allowed to be children.

7. Prefer grass but have yet to be washed out or camp in mud therefore could be persuaded by pea gravel pitches.

8. Not too bothered either - good exercise walking t the showers - though a pain if it's busy and you have to keep going back and forth!!

9. 10.30pm - 8am It always seems it is far later than 10.30pm when you are camping and we have been known to be tucked up by 9pm.

10. Well .......... depends on the site. not too bothered so long as I get a nice pitch and have nice neighbours - even better if you get the whole tent field to yourself for the week
