We live next door to a caravan park and were surprised to find lots of cat owners bring their cats with them. I like cats but we had to complain when on a regular basis cats strayed in to our garden and left a deposit. We complained to the site owner who assured us any cats were only allowed on site if kept indoors. We weren't the only neighbours who had the problem, we had all seen cats coming through the fence at the back of the park, the cats obviously liked the soft dug soil in our gardens.
The park owner wants to stay friends with his neighbours and cats are now banned, its a pity cat owners didn't abide by the rules, they shouldn't have allowed their cats out through night. Thankfully, due to the considerate park owner the cat problem is now solved and because of my experience I can clearly understand why some sites do not allow cats.
