My partner and I just got a tent (late!) this year and have done a few trips. Thinking of planning a few trips next year with some friends, but, many sites have exclusions on same sex groups.
So, three straight couples can book three pitches and enjoy a trip away together ..... But, three gay couples would not be allowed to book pitches together?
I can’t believe this would be the case, but, wonder if any members have any experience with this, or can recommend “gay friendly” campsites .... as asked 10 years ago ......
Exclusion on same sex groups shouldn't apply to gay couples. My teen & his mate were going to be refused entry to a site recently but got around the rule recently by telling the site they were a gay couple. They aren't but the site didn't know that & couldn't discriminate.

I hope they shared a tent, otherwise it would look rather suspicious!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
i go camping with a group of motorcyclists, most are male, we have never been excluded on the basis of being a single sex group nor for our chosen mode of transport.
i stayed at a caravanclub site recently and there were a number of all male parties staying there in caravens and campers. one a group of 3 young lads in a hired motorhome.
the single sex restriction may be a 'thing' on some commercial sites like haven but its not something i have encountered and the female couple asked to leave a campsite is absolutely disgusting and blatently backward and discriminatory.
i hope the OP finds somwhere nice to stay.
