We were at Nantcol last week, we had some heavy rain and the stream was running a bit too quick to go paddling.

I read somewhere that the butcher in Llanbedr was the 2010 world sausage champion, unfortunatley, we didn't buy any BBQ stuff as the weather was damp to say the least.
The pub in Llanbedr does a very nice meal.
In Barmouth there is a Co-op and an Iceland. All the way along the coast road you will find take-aways of one desciption or another.
Cbreddie,are you taking the bike,if you're not, you'll be quite upset as the roads around the area are excellent.We were going on the bike but the wife had health problems so I had to take the car. Still, I might be going back in August.
