Quite near the M40 though.

Lovley site - we stayed there in September 2012. Would love to go again.

If you don't like road noise then you may suffer as the noise from the M40 is quite loud.

I am not too put off by road noise although I think I can cope with a busy A road but not so sure about a motorway. It does sound nice though. Is there any tree screening or anything that takes any of the noise away? I certainly wouldn't rule out Twilight though. Banbury is somewhere I wouldn't mind staying as there are lots of things to do not too far away. Anywhere near a canal down there would be great.

Bridge House, Clifton Hampden, Abingdon,

This was lovely, adults only and took tents which had the best spot, you just pick your pitch if no electric is needed, cheap and well worth a visit.

Also 'The 3 Magpies' pub Devizes has a site which is next door to the CC site but cheaper, it takes tents.
