If the “scrutiny” is to stop the irresponsible dirty campers, I’m all for it because it really is a problem. But if you leave your overnight parking place cleaner than you found it, as I’m sure you do, you’ve nothing to get cross about. Yes the Covid situation can mean that public toilets maintained by volunteers may be closed & yes, that can be a problem for everyone, but not just NC500.
PS - it’s an ancient thread that burchardt has revived. There has been a great deal of discussion on the topic since the old thread died naturally.
